Default Rear axle housing swap

I have a 2009 with 3.55 ratio that I want to swap in a complete OEM factory assembly with 3.92 ratio.

Don't want to do just a ring and pinion change.

Problem is, the only NEW full assemblies from dealers are 2013 and later.

What could the differences be between the 2009 and 2013 up?

They started welding the carriers together. I have 3.55's too and wanted to change to 4.56's. After looking into it, they cannot be changed as I have a 2014. In all honesty, the amount it cost going from 3.55's to 3.92's is in my opinion pointless, you probably won't even feel a difference.

Yes, that's exactly what I'm saying. The entire carrier has to be changed out and nobody makes aftermarket parts for this rear end yet.
