Hey all. It's been more than awhile since I've posted to you. Last month I brought home what is probably one of my favorite all time vehicles. It's a truck! a RAM 1500 Express Reg. Cab. It has the Hemi 5.7 V8 and the 8 speed auto transmission. With 395 horses this truck is quick.

Not being able to leave it alone, I have been hard at work to upgrade many items as this was a very base equipped vehicle with just 20" chrome wheels, UConnect 5.0 radio with Bluetooth, nicer interior than base. It listed MSRP for $32600 and I got it for $22540! It is flame red on the Diesel/Gray inside cloth.

So far I've added the BakFlip 4 piece folding hard tonneau bed cover, Westin running boards, Class IV hitch, SureGrip differential, power door locks with door panel switches and a Viper alarm, Upper Glove Box kit to replace the open cubby storage bin, glove box light, OEM Park View back up camera, driver and passenger lighted vanity mirrors, replaced the overhead console with a new unit that has the Homelink feature. AND the BIG one, replaced my RA2 UConnect 5.0 satellite radio with the OEM UConnect RA4 8.4 Navigation satellite radio!

So, I still have hand crank windows, and no power mirrors. Both I can easily live with. Although, if nothing else, I would love to add power folding OEM mirrors. These may be a bit too much work to add though. Over the years we'll see.

Doing all this work has left me with some leftover but nice very slightly used parts. And a bit lighter in the wallet.
