check engine light came on...code reader was cam sensor fault...I installed new cam sensor myself...took it for a drive...engine starts fine...runs smooth...but if I floor it...got no power and check engine is still on...my question is...does the check engine light have to be reset with a code reader in order for the computer to register I have a new can sensor
