how do I tell if my engine is a "EZD" or "EZH"

 

"EZA" was the first 5.7L Hemi
"EZB" was the first 5.7L Hemi with MDS
"EZC" is the new 2nd gen 5.7L VVT without MDS
"EZD" is the new 2nd gen 5.7L VVT with MDS
"EZE" is the HEV 5.7 that was in the Durango/Aspen
"EZH" is a revised version of the 5.7L VVT MDS that replaced "EZD" fall of 2008

 

my 2009 build sheet says this "EZD 5.7L V8 HEMI MDS VVT Engine", (truck was built dec 2008). They probably had some leftover engines for the early gen 4 builds.
