I have the CD/GPS radio (RER?) in my 2010 Dodge. Put a CD into it this morning. It played fine but then the screen for playback lost its icons (playback rewind etc). It will open and close, but the CD seems to be stuck inside.
Any suggestions as to how to get it out?

 

My 2009 did the same thing. I had the basic radio though. I took the radio out and took it apart until I got access to the CD mechanism. I played with it and it came out. Worked after that til I sold the truck last week. I now drive a 2017 CC 4x4 Big Horn.

 

Started the truck this morning and CD started to play as if nothing had happened yesterday. Loads and ejects fine as well.


Go figure!
