Question Hard Wiring

Hello Everyone,

Dumb Question.... I need more lighting in my truck (2015 Ram 1500 Tradesman). I have been messing with the fuse box but can't find the dome light fuse. I want these extra lights to act like the dome light. ( Turn off and on when I open and close the door, use the keyless entry, etc...) Can anyone help with this? Thank you.

Default Some Light Circuit

Using the fuse for the dome light circuit will not help, that circuit is constantly powered. You can pull one of the dome lights out, and test for the positive feed there. It will only power up when door is opened. May be a purple/yellow wire.

Interior lights are powered by the cluster. Don't mess with them.

If you're using LEDs at low power that might be a different issue. You can probably tap into behind the overhead map lights module.

Yellow with Violet tracer should be the wire
