:/ Front Diff is TOAST
So... small backstory. 14 Ram 1500 express, purchased new, had BDS 4" lift and bilstein 5100s installed at 5k miles. 35x12.50x20 MTRs. 6 months ago my F driveshaft decided to break. Fixed under warranty. I recently got out of the military so I've been driving a lot less (happened at 52k miles truck is at 55.5k now.) First time i toss it in 4wd (not doing anything stressful, I have a built Toyota to play with) I hear some loud clanking. F diff housing decided to RIP itself apart from the frame.
Take it back to dealership and they say yup, that's powertrain it's covered. Have some warranty guy come look and he says it's not under warranty because of my lift... I left the truck there and going back tomorrow to speak with the manager, is rather not go insane here... But I'm about to lose my ****. Any pointers on what to tell the manager???
Any help is GREATLY appreciated. I'm also curious as to how much this will cost if I can't get it under warranty

Only thing I can think of is the Magnusson-Moss Act that says if they want to CLAIM an aftermarket accessory or modification was the CAUSE of the issue and void the warranty on a particular component, then THEY MUST PROVE that the modification was the cause.
Saying it is the cause is not the same as proving it. If they still deny you, get it in writing and simply inform them that you will contact an attorney.
Be forewarned, that if/when you mention legal action, they will stop talking to you immediately. DO NOT USE THIS AS A BLUFF.

Thanks for the advice. They told me it was warrantied then some tech came our and told me it wasn't. Said he's never seen a carrier snap off the mounts like this. He said it's due to my lift kit. Funny thing is, lift kit has been on since 5k miles, at 55k now. At 53k they replaced my front driveshaft under warranty and 2k miles later and first time it's in 4wd it decides to snap??? I guess they can pick and choose when they want to say your lift kit is at fault. Talking to the service manager on Monday to give it a shot to get him to do it under warranty, if not BDS can file a claim on my behalf which is my next option.
