Default 09 Ram Hemi (beeping)

New to the group and couldnt find anything to answer my situation. I have a 09 ram with the hemi. When i turn the key to either just the on position or starting it there is a loud continuous beep that lasts for about 10-15 seconds. It is not the normal chime that comes on i can hear both. No dummy lights are coming on. This just started this morning and have had the truck since last year and it has never done this. thanks in advance for suggestions on help

Hi Johnny09ram,

If you decide to visit your local dealership for further diagnosis I'd be happy to offer assistance if needed. Just PM our page with your VIN and let me know!

It probably has the dealer installed cheap alarm and it's making the noise.

Is it a periodic beep beep beep or a solid, continuous beeeeep? Does it sound generally the same as the seatbelt chime, or do you think it's coming from a different source?

Does it have an aftermarket stereo head unit? I've encountered some head units that will beep when they have an issue.
