AC Bypass
The bearings on my AC Compressor siezed up and broke the belt. I'm gonna be surrendering my truck and don't want to deal with a new compressor and the labor that it involves.
Ive searched AC Bypass but nothing came up, maybe it's just my phone. Called Napa, Auto Zone and O' Rileys... nobody seems to know what size serpentine belt I need and was hoping you fine people could give me an answer and possibility a belt chart without AC.
i have a 2012 Dodge Ram 1500 4.7L 2WD. Appreciate the help!

I wish I had saved off the belt part number from when I did this for a co-worker in a pinch. His RAM is older than a 2012 though and had the 5.7L. What I ended up having to do for his truck is remove one small bracket that supported the A/C compressor but would have interfered with the re-routed belt, then found a belt to fit without the A/C compressor pulley. I ended up having to make about 5 trips to Autozone to find a belt in the correct length, and the only belt they had in the correct length had one fewer rib than the OEM belt. I made that very clear to the guy when we were done, and suggested this only be a temporary fix. That was last fall though and as of about a month ago his wife said he's still driving it that way.
If you have a parts store rather near, you might try routing the stock belt to bypass the A/C compressor mark the length, then get a few belts that are shorter than that length (to account for the tensioner) to find which one fits. The length is pretty easy to decipher based on the belt part number. Be open to options with one less rib.
