So I have an 09 1500, 75k miles on it , iv owned it since new . Earlier this summer I did a complete brake job (pads and rotors) after that the brakes didn't seem right ..they worked fine and felt fine until you had to get on them real hard and stop real quickly. Took it to dealer and they said everything was fine ... And still I would experience the pedal going to the floor when slamming on the brakes ..so I replaced the master cylinder and blead everything ..things seemed fine for a while ..then just tonight 2 deer ran out in front of my and from 45 mph I slammed on the brakes all the way to the floor and it took quite a while to stop and with wet roads I would think slamming the pedal to the floor I would at least get the abs to activate...any thoughts ?.. thanks mike

Has anyone experienced issues with their brakes? I was having issues with mine a few months back...felt like glazed rotors ..i was having to apply alot of pressure to stop..the brake booster is definitely working ..just has to push further and harder on the pedal. So I did a complete brake job ..this did not help at all...since then I experienced a few times of stopping and the pedal dropping abruptly down an inch or so ...I have also had it where I slammed on the brakes like something jumped out in front of me and the pedal goes to the floor with nothing left to push on and the truck slows to a hault ...it seems as though if I'm stopping normally and easing into the pedal it stops relatively fine but when I get hard quickly on them ..to the floor I go....it's been to the dealer twice for this and they say nothing is wrong ...any thoughts?
