Default Need some Help with belt

I have a 2011 Ram 1500 Big Horn with the 5.7L Hemi. About 2 weeks ago I was getting serpentine belt noise, so I replaced it. The belt was making noise at all times, when the truck was idle as well as under power. Well the noise stopped for about 3 or 4 days, and now the noise is back, but the noise does not happen all the time. The belt does not make noise at idle, but starts to make a whining noise at or above 1000 RPM's.

Thanks in Advance

Cody

Remove the belt and spin all the pulleys and see if they make a nose. This USUALLY indicates a water pump going out.

You should also check your belt tensioner. See if scribe mark is at the limit. Your belt would slip if the tensioner was not providing enough pressure.
