Okay. Thank you so much for your help already on this.

That's an interesting way for lubricating the seals, but makes sense. I'm just worried about letting this sound go without knowing what it is incase it one day stops with a much loader more destructive noise.

On youtube there is a better video for the noise. It's called "chrysler 300c 5.7L hemi water pump problem. Listen to it and you can really hear the classic seal squeak.

Listened to that video, and that's not the sound I hear. That waterpump failure is too fast and too high of pitch chirp/squeak for whatever I have going wrong with my truck

Ever solve this? Funny story is I had similar issue on made same noise after driven for awhile. Dealer said was tranny (8 speed). Replaced under warranty. Had 88k on it at the time. Didn't solve it. Looking around on forums someone suggested to open the oil fil cap see if it goes away and it did. Relieved the pressure. Looking around I found the oil breather tube connected to air intake (cold air k&n from previous owner) was kinked just a bit. Straightened it out and solved!! Noise went away. Dealer and multiple mechanics couldn't figure it out. Got a new tranny out of the deal though haha

I don't think it got solved. 3rd Gen (08) truck with 5-speed transmission. Query is in the 4th Gen part of the forum. My money would've been on the power steering pump.
