Another tire thread-Nokian Rotiiva AT
I was looking to upgrade my stock Goodyear SRA to an AT tire. The stock tires only had 16000 miles but I was just doing research. I've had all the normal brands over the years and was browsing Americas Tire website looking for their "best" rated AT tires. The Nokian Rotiiva AT 275-60R20 were rated as "best" and priced at $199 but there where no reviews on the website. The tires weight 39 lbs (about the same as the stocks), 50k mile warranty, 13/32s thread depth, snow flake rating, thread grade of 700, traction grade A, load index of 115, 47 psi max, 130 MPH, temperature grade A. Very impressive numbers I thought. Then I found them for $118 at walmart so I kind of got exited about the tires. I went to Americas tire and they price matched so I had them installed. Sold my SRAs on craiglist for $100 the next day. I can say that I am very happy after 2000 miles with them and highly recommend them. I don't know why the price is so different but I think Nokian is trying to build their brand and discounting them heavily.
