Headlight issue due to TIPM
This is my first thread, I'm new, bare with me please. lol
So I have a 2009 Ram 1500, I HAD an HID kit in it, I believe the ballasts got wet, messed them up, so I took them out, sent them back to be replaced. I thought putting my stock bulbs back in would be fine and I'd be good to go. NO.
I put my stock bulbs in, and now only my driver side headlights work, have low and high with driver side. Passeneger side all I have is my yellow marker/blinker light(daytime running lights??). I read all over the internet on what might be the issue, got it down to the TIPM. So I ran a jumper wire from my driver side low beam wire, to the passenger side, I tested the wire to make sure it was getting voltage, it was, but I still have no lights on passenger side. The headlight connector has power, the lights just wont come on. Is there another way to bypass the TIPM, did I wire it up wrong, somebody please tell me theres something else other than buying a new TIPM.

I had a similar issue. Put in LED's thought I would upgrade from 3000k yellow bulbs when I bought used 2016 Big Horn, what a mistake. Worked at first now I have same issue you do. I replaced headlight wiring harness still doesn't work. Looking at buying a TIPM next. Let me know if you find any luck or solution. I will keep you updated also.
