Default 2017 Ram 1500 Cruise Control Recall

Next week I'm supposed to take my truck into the dealer for a factory recall on the cruise control, which reportedly can freeze in the on position and possibly (?) cause a problem. Has anybody had this "reprograming" done yet? I had an '07 Chevy truck which had several recall-reprogramming issues along the way. Every time I took it in for a reprogramming for a particular problem I left the dealer with another unrelated problem...such as a radio that now would no longer work after a fuel related problem was taken care of...or a temperature gauge that would not work when they reprogrammed the radio...or a stop light switch that would no longer work after another unrelated item was reprogrammed. I hate to start a similar chain of events with my Dodge in an attempt to fix some electronic condition that may or may not exist . I'm tempted to ignore the recall and take my chances with my truck which after 10,000 miles has had no problems of any sort. Thanks for any ideas on this.
