2014 Dodge Dart, the shift cable broke and we just replaced it at Firestone, when we picked it up they stated they can not get the key to release and they believe it is some kind of safety feature with Dodge.
Firestone states that they adjusted the cable numerous times and even spoke with Dodge to see why the key wont release with out removing the negative on the car battery and replacing it, then the key will release.
