Best way to remove stock antenna?

Default Best way to remove stock antenna?

I know this sounds stupid but I cannot remove the stock RAM silver antenna for the life of me! That som beeyatch is on tight! Even tried vise grips. Please help.

They make a special socket for the nut!

i would hope you have tried a box wrench in the right size with a piece of pipe on it already, never heard of them seizing before but hey, theres a first time for everything.

I just went trough this. If my memory is correct the antenna it self takes a 8mm wrench. To remove the chrome plastic ring there is a 3 prong socket that fits in the grooves on top. Of course u could use a pair of pliers, just be careful.
