Default Power Wagon Plow installation

Hey all - looking to install a snow plow onto a 2018 Ram 2500 Power Wagon with a factory installed winch. Anyone have any experience with this? Does the winch interfere with the bracket installation? I was hoping to stick with Western...but if another brand better suits my truck with the winch, I'd be willing to switch.

Any input would be much appreciated...Thanks!

Probably depends on the plow manufacturer; since they all have proprietary mounting systems for the push plates one might work where another might not. Your best bet will be to contact vendors for Boss, Fisher, Blizzard, etc. and ask them. They should know for certain if the winch will be a problem. The larger housing for the disconnecting swaybar may be an issue as well, but again they should be able to tell you if it'll work.

Personally, I'd be concerned about exceeding GAWR if it was me. Between the weight of the 6.4 and the winch, along with the extra weight of the electronic sway bar it doesn't leave a whole lot of reserve weight to hang a plow with. On the other hand, I see guys plowing with 2500's with the Cummins and a 9.5 Fisher XV2 around here all the time. No idea how often they're replacing front end parts, though.
