2015 3.6 4WD Quad Cab Shudder When Putting in Gear
I've had this truck for a few months, and only driven it a few thousand miles. It's got about 1500 miles left before it hits 100k, so I want to have this looked at under warranty, thinking this may be covered under the 100k mile powertrain warranty.
What's going on, is that periodically (but often), you get in the truck, shift into Drive, let off the brake, and there's a short, but very noticeable, shudder. You don't have to give it gas to get the shudder. I'm not sure, but I think if I hold my foot on the brake for a few seconds after putting it in gear, and not letting it move immediately, it tends to not do this.
I've not been able to find exactly how to replicate it, so I'm afraid of bringing it to the dealer, only to get it back saying 'unable to replicate problem'.
Any ideas? All of the stuff I see on the shudder is usually under acceleration.
Thanks in advance.
Jack

Well, I learned something new there....
Went into the EVIC just now, and it was turned on, so I turned it off. I'll let you know if that cures it.

Big thanks to Pedro_Dog. I disabled the Hill Assist, after his post, and I haven't had the problem again. I only once just *barely* felt a similar shudder, so I believe the Hill Assist feature was simply magnifying exponentially, a condition which may have existed and is not a problem.
