Default Hanging up in park

I have a 2016 Ram 3500 and it has started to hang up in park. Even on level ground. I was at a gas station and I couldn't get it out of park. I was finally able to get it out of park by shutting the engine off. Put it to run and shift it to neutral. Restarted the engine and it would come out of park. Has any of you had this problem and if so what did you find.

Hi rainierfriesians,

Thank you for sharing this experience. We are sorry to learn that you have a concern with your 2016 Ram. If this concern continues, we recommend visiting your local Ram dealer for a diagnosis.

If at any point you would like to check if your vehicle has a recall, you can enter your VIN at recalls.mopar.com. Please let us know if you have any further questions!
