If it's like the 2011 Durango with Hemi and the 2014 Ram 1500 with Hemi, you just lift straight up on the front end and rear edge of the engine cover. I don't recall if you need to remove the oil fill cap first or if that was a different vehicle of mine. There are plastic and rubber "snaps" that hold the cover in place. My recall is there are four snaps, two toward the front and two toward the rear.
There is one "snap" type **** in the front (just left of center). Pull straight up to unsnap it then pull forward to disengage 2 pins in the back and it comes right off. I have not put mine back on after putting the motor back together.
