The 2009s, should have the "Fuel Saver" message which is essentially ECO. It usually should light when efficiently driving. There has been notes that a change in fuel grade affects the sensitivity. I can't say that I have experienced that in my 2014.
I have an oct 2008 build date and mine doesn’t have the light. I do recall reading a while back that there is a flash to add it but I have not looked into it. Any info would be great. Thanks.
How to check it if its equipped? I was thought all Dodge RAM's from 2006 was equipped with MDS.
The engine is equipped with mds,,, but the light was a mid year option on the 2009s all 2010 up have the light.

OK,I checked a door sticker,and the Date of MFR/Date is 11/08.
So my truck not equipped with an ECO lamp on the dashboard, right?
