Default Preferred tire?

It's time for new tires on my 2011. I'm tired of the traction control light yelling at me already, and they're starting to crack pretty good.

Is there a preferred tire brand/line on the 4th gens? I've always had firestones on my dakota after getting horrible mileage out of goodyears. Looking for something in the 50 or 60,000 mile class - They'll probably dry rot about the time time they wear dead. I only put 9K miles or so a year on the truck, far from the 18K/yr when dad had it before it sat for 2 years. Dad thinks the tires on it now were from 60,000 or so, it has 108 now. Has goodyears in back and generals up front.

And yes, I tried the search function.

Depends on your rim size.
Im running Michelin defenders on my stock 20’s. Almost went with the a/t’s but I mainly stay on the pavement.

GY Wranglers handle way better on a Ram than a Dak. I had Michelin on mine when I bought it and they were really too harsh for me. Switched to Wranglers 2 years ago.
