Default Just bought a 2013 2500 6.7 (this posted in the wrong forum!)

It’s a bit of a beast of a truck, and I honestly wasn’t looking for such a large beast, was looking at long beds, and putting a topper on it, but saw this one at a rather decent price. Only has 94,600 miles on it. I plan on using this to haul around central vacuum cleaner pipe (which comes in 8ft sticks, hence the 8ft bed) and all the other associated supplies and tools used to install and service a central vacuum system. (For those who have never heard of this www.builtinvacuum.com these are the things I’m planning on working with). I’m a vacuum collector who has always been fascinated with these things... But anyway, I figured this would be useful in storing everything in a very organized way, probably be more secure than just a topper as well. There are several other collectors like me in this business, most use vans, but the other who prefers a 4 wheel drive truck, has a Tacoma, and both the bed and the cab are completely packed with stuff. Like me, he wants to have everything conceivable tha he may need while out at a house working, the worst thing is having to go get things you forgot or ran out of. I didn’t want to have my passenger space invaded by stuff, and I wanted room for either my personal things or passengers, as this is the probably the only vehicle I’ll have. I may consider keeping my Durango, but I doubt I can afford insurance on both truck at this time. This is also the most reliable of the two...
