Default HEMI Tick From Hell.......

2017 Ignition Orange Sport..... a few weeks ago I started to hear that infamous slight tick on cold starts, but would go away. 4 days ago it was cooler and I started it and it sounded like a ball ping hammer hitting an anvil for about 30 seconds and then quieted down, still noticeable and revved with engine RPM, but not as pronounced (center of the passenger side bank).........I have not seen any issues with manifold bolts on the 2017, so my concern is could this possibly be a leaking hydraulic lifter? I tried my best to check for loose heat shields but I'm a Very HEALTHY CRITTER and can only get so far
Only 24k miles, so still under warranty and I have an appointment this coming Tuesday. I will update the masses Just SALTY cause I actually baby this truck.

Has anyone encountered like issue with a newer GEN 4?

have seen some collapsed lifters for the cylinder deactivation cylinders and also some worn rockers...but you would be getting a misfire.

Sounds like exhaust manifold bolts.

manifold bolts are much more common that anything else...even on a 17. when the engine is cool...slide under and try to pull the heat shields back with a screw driver or small prybar.
