Default 2018 Ram 1500 ecodiesel DEF IN ENGINE!

Hi, so I took my truck to get a oil change done in my 2018 ecodiesel ram 1500 and they some how managed to put DEF in my engine. Always took my truck to this shop they got a new worker who didn’t know. I know this is probably one of the stupidest thing anyone has heard of. Never heard anyone doing this and not sure if this will cause any future issues. They drained it and put engine oil in it and no check engine lights and its driving fine.

I would think your fine. as long as no fuel or oil goes into the def tank....if it does...replace the tank and pump.

the def went in the engine not the fuel tank correct? If it went in the fuel tank...tow it to the dealer.

driving with water in the fuel system is bad for a diesel injection system...address this pronto.
