Default power window problem

Guys, need some help here. Am new to this group so please bear with me. Have a 2012 2500 with the 6.7 diesel, 4 door cab. Several times now I come out the truck and find the front two windows either half way down or 1 all the way down & the other side 1/2 way down & some times both front all the way down. The truck would be parked, no key in it, sitting for awhile, then come out to find them down. Had 1 instance where I found the truck running with both front windows down after returning from an appointment after being gone for over an hour. This is very sporadic. Has this happened to anyone else ? Any advise as to what to do ?
Am thinking of having exorcism performed !

I would be thinking about the key fob. I have never experienced it but heard of something like holding one of the buttons down will put the windows down in the vehicle ??? Maybe your key fob is sending a bad signal to the truck to remote start and/or put windows down ???? just a thought

My first thought would be the key fob too. If you have a second fob, try taking the battery out of the current fob and use the second fob for a month or two, unless the truck continues to lower windows and/or remote start itself. The keypad of the fob could have either a tact switch that is failing to consistently open or a membrane conductive pad that decided to no longer stick to the keypad and instead stick to the contacts on the circuit board, intermittently shorting out the Unlock and/or remote start contacts.

Hi tomleasure,
We understand why this may be concerning. We suggest having your dealer inspect this concern if you have not done so already. We are also available via private message if you would like any additional assistance during that process.
