I have a ‘16 ram 1500 hemi 5.7. Sporadically, I will start the engine and it immediately dies. I have to turn the ignition off, remove the key and then reinsert and it will start again. Anyone heard or had anything similar happen to them?

 

This is a very common problem reported with the newer 5.7L challengers. Never had it happen in my 2011 Challenger though. One thing that may say seems to help is to turn the key to on then wait at least 5 seconds then start it. Not sure if it's a fuel pressure issue or what but nobody has been able to determine the exact cause.
