Default Installing Overhead Light Console - 2011 RAM 2500 ST

Hi everyone. I did a search for installing the overhead light console but was unable to find a link or thread for a 4th Generation truck. My used truck only has the one single dome light in the middle of the cab and does a poor job of lighting up the front of the cab at night when I need to read and write notes - such as when filling out my fuel mileage log every time I purchase fuel.

I have the mounting bracket that will go between the roof liner and roof of the cab - and to which the overhead light console will attach to; however, I'm looking for instructions detailing what parts need to be removed in order to drop the headliner. I'm also looking for tips on wiring the unit so that the lights will function properly.

I was also thinking of adding roofing insulation to improve the heating/cooling properties and to help reduce cabin noise.

If someone can provide a good link to a similar project, I would be very thankful. Hope everyone had fun and safe 4th of July weekend
