So my Galaxy S9 had been working for a long time. Text message comes in. I press the button on my 2011 Ram 3500 MyGig RHB radio and say "READ MESSAGES" and it would say "New text message from XXXXXXX at XXXXXXX" and read the message.

About 6 months ago I must have gotten an update on my phone and now it tells me "New text message No Number Available"

I have tried three different firmware on the radio (now @ 50.01.01 https://mygig-disk.com/download-rhb.php)

For the heck of it I paired my wife's Galaxy S7 and her phone works fine.

I can even make calls by saying "Call xxxxxxx Mobile" and incoming calls show the correct name.

What am I missing here?

 

Have you tried deleting your own phone and re-pairing?

 

A number of times including "forgetting" the connection on my phone as well. I have not tried to factory my phone yet but I can't seem to bring myself to doing that yet.
