On my drivers door i can not lock the doors off the switch, on the passenger side i can lock and unlock fine. Also my keyfob will not lock or unlock the doors. What should i check I am stuck.

I dont want to just start changing parts as I am not sure what could be causing this.

Replace your battery in the fob and while you have it apart clean all the button contacts and the contact points on the board in the fob with rubbing alcohol. As far as the door switch it could be be bad. I do not know of a way to test it other than ohming it out.
