Hey I have a 2010 Dodge Ram 1500 I’m looking for a centre console bank for rear lights and interior light but would like some extras in case I want to add something Down the road. Preferable in either of these places I would rather in between the shifter and the cup holders so I can run a bigger wire to the lighter if you know of anyone that has something or a website that would have something.
thanks in advance
This seems like a near perfect application for a 3D printer. You could (or could have someone) pretty easily print a switch panel that would drop in to the spot between the gear selector and cup holders with cutouts and blanks for switches if you knew what switches you'll eventually go with. The panel could probably even just velcro in place so, in the event you want to remove it later, you could just disconnect the wires and pull it out. I imagine that bottom liner is removable so the holes for wire and the velcro could be under that pad, making it easy to hide if opted to remove the panel later.
Do you have a "maker space" near where you live, or know someone with a 3D printer and CAD skills?
