U Connect/ Wifi hotspot
Hi, I'm in the process of buying a Ram 1500 Extra cab Big Horn edition and I have some questions about the Uconnect and Wifi Hotspot.
1. Do I need to have wifi in the truck to access the Uconnect features with my phone?
2. What carrier (AT&T, Verizon) is used and how much per month? Mopar says $50 month, I can get a full feature 5g phone for less, or a mobile hotspot for $10-$15.
3. It's listed as 3g, is it upgradeable to 4g? I know verizon is doing away with 3g in near future.
4. Can I switch it to another carrier (USCellular, Verizon). Phone is with USCellular.
