Exclamation 2016 1500 Fog lamp schematic

Electrical issue with 2016 Ram 1500 fog lamps. Right side fine, but left won't come on after bulb replacement. Swapped with known good
bulb. Still out. Connectors look fine. Checked and no power to the connector. No fog lamp fuse or relay at TIMP. Is it wired to the BCM? TIPM?
Anyone have a schematic they can share for the fog lamp wiring diagram? Many Thanks.

I have the diagram for the 2014 model year. I'm not sure if anything would be different for 2016. I also looked at both the Base and the Premium model diagrams and as far as the fog lights go, there is no difference. The module second from top is the Body Control Module. It would appear the TIPM is not part of this circuit.

From the image of the connector, it appears what the diagram refers to as the "Left Front Fog Lamp Control" is the bulb itself. That kind of aligns with the text just outside the box as well.

Thank you for the reply. I'll post the fix once I troubleshoot further. Hope this isn't a mouse issue.....

So where is the Body Control Module. Under dash or is it integrated with the TIPM?

There's isn't a very good drawing of it, but here are the steps to remove the BCM (again, for the 2014 Ram 1500):
  1. Disconnect and isolate the negative battery cable.
  2. Remove the remote park release access panel.
  3. Remove the left sill and cowl panel. See: Interior Moulding / Trim\Trim Panel\Service and Repair\Cowl Trim Panel - Removal.
  4. Remove the amplifier. See: Accessories and Optional Equipment\Amplifier\Service and Repair\Amplifier - Removal.
  5. Remove the park brake release rod at the park brake, remove lever and rod See: Brakes and Traction Control\Parking Brake System\Parking Brake Pedal\Service and Repair\Removal
  6. Disconnect the park brake switch harness connector.
  7. Position the park brake assembly aside (3 nuts)
  8. Disconnect the harness connectors (5) and retainers at the BCM (2).
  9. Remove the two lower and two upper BCM bolts (3) to remove the BCM (2) from the bracket.

Default fog light fix

Thank goodness it wasn't the BCM. Just a faulty connector that attaches to the lamp. Ordered a replacement through Amazon. Mopar only has the total wiring harness and not just the connector. Many thanks for all the help.

Great, glad to hear you got the issue figured out for a relatively easy and inexpensive fix!
