Just bought a 2012 Ram Quad Cab 4x4. express

When back to the dealership and turns out Mopar discontinued the OEM remote start in 2014. Using Google I found a bunch of different remote starts however I am looking for an OEM remote start with everything on the key fob.

Any links or suggestions.

I think that dealership is yanking your chain. My 2017 has OEM remote start.

Yeah I was told the parts were discontinued in 2014. I will keep researching.

i put an aftermarket starter in mine which uses the factory key fob to start it, you click the lock button three times and it starts right up. I believe this is the one the company sells for your 2012 https://warmcarnow.com/product/evo-c...-remote-start/


that said, i DO wish i bought the long range remote kit with it, if for nothing else than the pit stop mode.
