Upgrading to laramie cooled seats In a bighorn that had heated seats
I know I saw a thread somewhere in some ram forum that had a tutorial but I've now been searching for days and can't find it.
basically I have a 16 bighorn that had heated seats, I've installed seats from a 15 laramie that has the cooled option. I've changed the switches out under the radio and now just need to know how to wire it up under the seat.
Anyone have any experience or remember seeing the tutorial I'm talking about?
Thanks!

I'm doing this upgrade myself but from a '15 Tradesman w/6.7 Cummins to a '17 Laramie interior including the 8.4 radio upgrade. The tradesman is the most basic interior with no powered seats or anything else. I found a wrecked '17 and got the leather seats (front and rear) and the door panels. I knew I was going to need more but at least I had a donor truck. After researching as much as I could, it turned out I needed the dash wiring harness for the radio/switches and the wiring harness for the cab as the wiring is different. So, I went back to the donor and purchased the dash (premium dash) and wiring harness. They included everything attached to the dash including the instrument cluster, amp, switches etc so it can pretty much be a plug and play. I was helping with the removal from the donor vehicle and it was actually pretty easy. Then as I was sitting there in the donor vehicle completely stripped out now, I see the HVAC airbox and knowing the Laramie has dual zone temp controls I said "Well, what the hell...I might as well" so out came that and into the bed of my truck to bring home. Going to be a super fun project once I get into it but the bottom line is that when it came down to the electronics and such, one thing led to another and everything is connected. I'm sure I could have figured it out with what I currently have but having the harnesses and everything else it'll hopefully just be a R/R process for me. You may be able to just trace the wiring and run what you need but you may have to replace the entire wiring harness as I am having to do.
This guy is doing the interior upgrade on Youtube so this might get you to the process you need too:
