Blower Motor not working after replacement.
I have a 2016 Ram 1500. The blower was acting up working when it wanted. Finally went out and I replaced it. Still not working. Checked fuses and relays. Compressor is kicking on and off and the ***** on dash light up as if they are on. Any ideas anything will help.
Does your truck have manual climate control, or electronic climate control? The motor speed control method varies depending on the system. I'm not as familiar with the 2016, but I remember there used to be a pretty common issue with the blower motor control connectors making intermittent connection, getting hot, and failing.
I'm pretty sure that the power feed to the blower motor is direct from the fuse and the speed is controlled via the ground to the motor, so if checking voltage you should measure across the blower motor connector rather than using a known good ground.

Oh, the 3-wire blower motor might be a bit of a different beast. That would appear to be a blower motor with integrated motor controller. Does it have Dark Blue, Dark Blue with Light Blue tracer, and Black wires to it? If so, the Dark Blue is the power feed from blower motor relay, the Black wire is dedicated ground, and the Dark Blue/Light Blue tracer wire is the speed control. It's probably a pulse width modulated (PWM'd) signal, but I'm not positive on that.
