I bought a 2017 RAM 1500, 5.7 ZR8 4WD.
I'm trying to check the coolant level in the reservoir but the reservoir tank is black.
Owner's manual is 300+ pages of no help.
I'm used to checking coolant level every time I stop for gas. How do I check coolant level on my truck?

Most full size trucks nowadays have a dipstick in the coolant reservoir. If yours is missing then order up another one from a dealer or mark off and use a large industrial zip tie to check it.

 

I didn't see the dipstick, but found a You-tube video showing me how on 4/19.

If you don't see it, it's missing. Simple as that. Every truck has one inside the cap of the reservoir.
