Default Crossed jumper cables

Tried to jump my 2015 Dodge Ram 2500. My sun in law crossed the cables accidentally. Where to start to diagnose what needs to be replaced?

Only a minute or two, when I tried to start my truck the gages didn't move, I went to check battery cables and found them backwards. Righted them but still nothing happened, no movement on gages, no starter sounds. Instruments still, but light's were still on, on the dashboard.

Often there is a reverse polarity protection diode that will cause a fuse to blow to protect the PCM in exactly this scenario. I'm not as familiar with Mopar products, but this has been the case on a few other brands that for several years.
