2013 ram hemi suddenly having weird problems.
I have a 2013 ram 1500 sport with the 5.7 hemi.
I parked my truck with nothing weird and when I returned to it the windshield wipers were going and wouldn’t stop or change speed, I started the truck and the windshield wipers still wouldn’t respond and kept going, as well as the truck engine would not shut off. The button would show that the truck is off and the stereo would turn off but the engine was still running. The screen with the shifter selector also showed yellow letters which I haven’t seen before. I drove it a few miles home and it seemed like it was in some sort of limp mode, accelerated very slowly but was a little better when up to 25-30mph.
I have seen some videos of some problems somewhat similar where it ended up being a faulty win module, but all of the videos were about trucks with a physical key and the symptoms weren’t exactly the same so I’m not sure if it’s that. I also installed a lift recently on the truck but everything was done properly so I don’t believe that would affect anything like this. The only other non cosmetic change I've made to the vehicle is a air intake but that’s been installed for 2 years. I fear this is a bad electrical issue but I hope it’s just a module I can replace or something similar, any feedback would be greatly appreciated.
edit: I pulled the fuse for the fuel pump to get it to shut off, but the wipers continue to go as long as the battery is connected.
