High Beam Indicator stays lit
I have a 2021 Ram Classic Warlock and the high beam indicator light stays on and the high/low beam switch does not seem to do anything. I just got the truck and have not really done much investigating but figured I would ask here incase someone has had this issue.
So are the high beams on, or just the indicator? When you say the switch doesn't do anything, does it not toggle the headlights either? Do the headlights turn off from the headlamp switch like they should? Also, just to be sure you're not referring to the headlight indicator in the cluster, is the indicator light you're referring to green or blue?

The high beam switch does not switch them from high to low. The high beam indicator is blue and stay on even when trying to put the high/low beam switch to low beam.
The headlight on/off/auto switch works fine.
The headlight on/off/auto switch works fine.
I'm guessing it's a faulty multi-function switch (MFS). If you have access to a high end scan tool you can monitor the high beam inputs while toggling the high beam switch to see if if the module is recognizing a state change. You can also have the scan tool activate the low beam headlights to confirm the module and wiring from the module to headlights is good.
