Can you define "not working"?

Are there even any AM radio stations out there anymore?

Moved to the correct section for you.

So do you hear static or just silence? Does Seek land on any stations but there's no audio, or does Seek/Scan not find any stations?

AM seems to work better than FM lately for me, in all vehicles.

Id check for antenna faults

This may sound crazy. When I'm at my farm which is a long distance from any towers, I can only get AM radio when I step on the brakes. And, when I do, it's crystal clear. Had to wear out my brake pads to listen to a Yankee game.
