Help please!
Hi,
i have a 2015 5.7 hemi. I was driving along in cruise about 60mph and the revs started rising as if the transmission had changed down! Not in the red but rising all the same. I was just leaving the dual carriageway on a slip road so turned the cruise off and all was ok. Not happened since. Any ideas on what this could be please?
I need to get a code reader so I can check any faults stored. Not bothered about making adjustments or re-writing programmes or whatever! Just a good basic code reader to help diagnose issues. Any suggestions please? I have all app,e devices if that helps!
I am based in the UK.

MTIA,
excuse my lack of diagnostic knowledge but if I purchase the Veepeak Bluetooth OBD port from amazon(approx £40, will this work with my iPhone/ipad? Do I then just download an app (Alfo OBD) for example and I am good to go or am I missing something?😂😂😂
Yes, you can probably look up some youtube tutorials for it. But alfa is an app, you can install on an android, apple, laptop ect, and then you can use lots of different diagnostic interface connectors, bluetooth enabled is usually the easiest if using a phone or tablet. Then you plug the scanner into the port and connect it on your phone and you have full code scanning/clearing, as well as the ability to adjust computer parameter if you would ever need to.

You may want to check out the AlfaOBD website. There are certain OBD2 adapters that are known to work well with the app and your choice of OS. At least for Android, there is a free version of AlfaOBD, but the more feature-rich version is VERY inexpensive. I went with that descriptor because I'd say the price is better than "reasonable" given the functionality. And it's a one-time fee if you go with the paid version, not a subscription or recurring cost.
