cab lights w/ sun roof
Can you install cab lights on an "18 4dr 1500 sun roof truck? Just for the novelty could you use the never used sun roof switch?? Yes, I know about the headlight switch.THX

I don't recall there being much sunroof-related stuff in front of the sunroof above the headliner. The motor might be in the center just ahead of the sunroom, but depending on how far back on the roof you would be thinking to place the lights, and how much of the light/wiring has to have clearance, it probably won't be a problem.
As for using the sunroof switch - if it's like the switches in my MoPars, you would need to install an active latching circuit if you wanted to repurpose one of the factory switches. Currently the sunroof switches are momentary buttons with supporting logic to control the sunroof until the motor stalls or a limit is reached.
