Got some new puddle lights for my 15 Ram and the passenger side connector is different than the drivers side. I assume the mirror was swapped out at some point. I believe the carfax said there was drivers side damage in the past but other than some minor bumper damage everything looked normal
Edit: well after popping the blind spot mirror off (got new turn signal lights as well) that plug is different as well

I had the exact same issue with my 2010. The mirror assembly is an aftermarket replacement. I ended up just reworking the wiring to make it work and sealed with silicone caulk.
