Default Fender Flares

Has anyone looked at the Bushwacker pocket style fender flares??

Part # is 50915-02
I got a price from 4 Wheel Parts of $454.99

They come in ABS paintable black. I wonder how much it would be to get the dealer to paint them??

I paid a dealer $150 to paint a set of OEM flares that come on the two tone for my all black truck. I would say that unless you lift and put larger tires on your truck, flares that big are not going to look good. Non-street flares look bad on stock trucks. Bushwacker makes a street flares. Had a set on my heavy duty.

I had them on my '07 2500 CTD. If you do go with them make sure you leave them on for good. Some dust or dirt got behind mine and wore down to the primer in spots on the paint. They come with a rubber lip that's suppose to help. If I go this route again I'm going to use tape or something on the backside.

Maybe covering the paint with that blue tape prior to putting the flares on would protect it adequately ???
