Why did dodge put that black heavy tape between the door on the B post? I think it would look better with out that? Then again with tinted windows it all looks kinda sweet? Has anyone taken it off?

 

I have taken it off of my 3 dodge rams I have owned, to ME it looks better, but as you will find out ,a lot of people disagree on this .it is a matter of individual taste,

 

I like the chrome ones you can get, but only because they would look better than the Black on mine. Mine came with the chrome bumpers, step bars, and door handles so they would match better.

 

You know it just peels off and its body colored underneath right?

 

where abouts is this tape? i'm confsed on the b post part.

oh okay thats what i figured my truck is black so it doesn't really bother me, maybe one day after work i'll have a look at it and take the tape off and take some goo gone and wipe the glue off of it. Still gotta debadge my truck still too..

 

I would really like to see it off also, anyone have a red one?

I am a Fire/Rescue Guy and all the post's are named starting from your windshield corner post being the "A" post, moving to each post back .. The B post is between the doors and C post is the back of the Cab post etc..
