Which Nitto?
I cant decide between Terra Grappler or Trail Grappler. I want a tire that will get me through a tough mud hole or over some rocks but i have the hemi and like to go fast. Would the meatier tire effect me negatively when i wanna hammer down and get gone or if i want to put on a little smoke show?

I have a set of 35" Terra's on mine (as of late Oct) and like them a lot. I was also considering Trail's, but I spend more time on pavement so I went Terra. I've had it off road a fair amount and have had no problems at all. Mud holes in 4x4, snow, rain ... and even a trail that I used to have in 4x4, I can do in 2x4 with the Terra's. Just my 2 cents - doubt you'd go wrong with either!

I agree with Catchin Z's, been running Mickey Thompson/Dick Cepek tires on my trucks for over a dozen years now - can't beat 'em!
BUT at over $200 a pop, I went with Terra Grapplers on my Jeep Grand Cherokee (at $127.50 a pop for the same size). I am over-all very happy with them, but wouldn't run them on a NON-Daily Driver truck - now a daily driver pickup - 'nuther story.
My experience with the Terra Grapps = VERY good road manners, probably the quietest A/T tire I've run and handles wet pavement better than ANY tire I've ever run. The Jeep does have the advantage of factory lockers in both axles, so mild to even mid off-roading is not a problem for them. However, in DEEP slop, they don't clean themselves well at all. It doesn't take much for heavy mud to clog them up quick.
For any on/off-road uses that doesn't include deep muck, I'd recommend them whole-heartedly, but if deep mud is gonna be in the picture, you'd be better off with the Trail Grapplers IMO...

Thanks fellas im thinking trails and get some (295/70r17 33.25"x11.61) Im wanting bilstein 5100 all around with a 1" spacer on the rear so hopefully ill get a couple inches on the front. I would like to go closer to 34 or 35 eventually but want to try out some smaller tires first and see how they wear before i spend 300+ on some shoes.
