i know this is a later post.. but that remote will not only work with the 3rd generation rams.. it will work with the second generation as well.. as will it work with MOST of the dodge, chrysler, plymouth, AND jeep.. i have been interchanging them for a long time.. hell the new remotes that have the key built in will work with 2nd generation.. just gotta know the programming sequence..
