I'll have to measure them this weekend and I'll let you know on Friday evening. The advantage is less resistance, better fuel mileage, a little bit more power (nothing noticable on a dyno though).

Alright the actual red part of the wires are 6 inches across approximately. From the black part that you plug into the coil pack to the other end of the red part is approximately 7.5 inches.
